On Friday, the S&P 500 rallied over 1% following a “goldilocks” jobs report leaving the index up modestly for the week, closing right at its 50d ma. It is another reasonably quiet start to the week with Japan, Korea and the UK closed for holidays. Global equity markets are extending to the upside this morning. After the initial move higher this morning US indices have traded in a very tight range (<10pts for the S&P 500). As we head to print, the S&P 500 is up 26pts to 5,153 (+0.5%), the Dow is up 30pts to 38,705 (+0.1%), while the Russell 2k is up 26pts to 2,061 (+1.3%).
